EVELYN TRUE BUTTON HOUSE

The Button House was the home of Mrs. Evelyn True Button, who was a teacher, author, world traveler and advocate for women's rights. The Federal Style home was built in 1836. It is restored and preserved to appear just as it was when Mrs. Button occupied it. The furnishings and adornments date from 1830 to 1890. It is perhaps the most complete Victorian home you will ever visit. Located at 142 East Main Street in McConnelsville.
